As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional cooperation and foster sustainable regional development, the University of Zakho received a high-level delegation from the General Directorate of Tourism in Zakho. The delegation was headed by the Director General, Mr. Chia Amin, and was formally welcomed by Professor Dr. Diyar Abdulkarim Saeed, President of the University of Zakho.

The visit represents a significant step toward enhancing collaboration between academic institutions and governmental bodies, and underscores the shared commitment to advancing development initiatives within the region.

Objectives of the Visit

The meeting focused on reinforcing institutional cooperation between official administrative entities and academic institutions. Key areas of discussion included:
